Pyke Castle - Game of Thrones

Pyke, the seat of House Greyjoy, Westeros. I'm a huge fan of Game of Thrones, so decided to build one of the castles. The obvious choices would have been King's Landing or Winterfell but to me Pyke seemed more interesting, visually. I think I had better opportunity for creative techniques with this choice of castle, building according to the description in the books but adding something of my own as well. The end result is my interpretation of it. I used curved slope on plate for most of the rock. An internal structure of Lego technic bricks is used to create the angled rocks.

This model was featured on The Brothers Brick Lego Blog and BrickJournal issue #45 and won awards for The Game of Thrones theme build at two Lego Conventions, BrickCon 2016 and BrickCan 2017.
