Japanese Rice Plantation.

A combination of Japanese architecture and plantation landscaping in a village setting. This was an interesting build because I was essentially building curves with straight plate and rectangular bricks and it involved Japanese architecture. To me personally, the intricacy combined with simplicity of this type of architecture is mind blowing. Building these little cottages was like an explosion of possibilities in building techniques.

I did a guest feature on the building process of this model on The Brothers Brick Lego Blog. This model also won awards for Best Architecture and Landscaping at BrickCon 2017 and BrickCan 2018.

An Interview with Beyond the Brick TV about the construction process.
